- I have a Gateway 2000 with a Gateway Telepath 14.4 modem. I recently
- installed Windows 95. It auto-detected the modem without a problem but
- when I try connect to my Internet Service Provider it connects for a
- few seconds then hangs up. It doesn't get to the point of entering the
- username and password, I've brought up the terminal window to check
- this. At the Gateway site they suggest setting it up as a USR
- Sporster. If I do this I can't get the modem to even dial.
-
- Any suggested init strings or solves would be much appreciated.
